This year...
In the year 2020, COVID-19 has hit the adoption world hard. International countries closed borders, domestic courts temporarily suspended operations, and infant casework was more difficult to do remotely. BUT God was so faithful!

This year, your donations have helped us place 27 children in loving, Christian homes, through our Domestic Infant Program. We have seen 19 children come home to forever families from Bulgaria, Ukraine, Mexico and Peru. And this year, we have been able to expand our Suitcase Movement to completely eliminate our cost to families to provide homes for children in the Georgia foster care system.

The "L" Family
As we began our adoption journey, we knew God had called us to adopt a child with Down's Syndrome. When we traveled to Lithuania to adopt our son Jacob, we never expected that we would be returning, less than a year later, to adopt his best friend, Lucy, as well! Open Door advocated for us and it has been a miraculous journey to watch these two children become confident members of our family. We can't imagine our life without Jacob and Lucy being a part of it!
